1. Scope and Provider

These Terms of Service govern the acquisition and use of the software "Canvas Print Hero" (hereinafter "Software"), offered by:

(hereinafter "Provider")

2. Subject of Contract

The Provider grants the customer a perpetual, non-transferable license to use the Software on the number of devices specified in the respective license model.

• Demo version: Free, full functionality, export with watermark.
• Standard license: Use on up to 2 devices, export without watermark.
• Pro license: Use on up to 3 devices, all features unlocked.

3. Payment Processing and Contractual Partner

Payment processing for Canvas Print Hero is handled by our online reseller and Merchant of Record Paddle.com Market Limited (15 Briery Close, Great Oakley, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN18 8JG, United Kingdom). Paddle acts as the seller (Merchant of Record) and is therefore your direct contractual partner for the purchase transaction.

This means:

• The invoice is issued by Paddle, not by the Provider.
• Payment data (credit card, PayPal, etc.) is processed exclusively by Paddle. The Provider has no access to this data.
• VAT is automatically calculated and remitted by Paddle, based on the buyer's location.
• For order-related inquiries, including refunds, invoice corrections, and payment issues, Paddle is responsible.

All prices include the applicable VAT.

The Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Privacy Policy apply additionally.

4. License Key and Activation

After purchase, the customer receives a license key by email. Activation is performed in the Software by entering the key. An internet connection is required for initial activation and periodic revalidation (every 30 days).

Without an internet connection, the Software functions for at least 44 days after initial activation (30 days + 14-day grace period).

5. Usage Rights

• The license is bound to a natural or legal person.
• Transfer, resale, or rental of the license key is not permitted.
• Reverse engineering, decompilation, or modification of the Software is not permitted.
• Export files created with the Software may be used commercially without restriction.

6. Updates

The license entitles the user to all updates within the purchased major version (e.g., all versions 1.x). A paid upgrade may be required for new major versions (e.g., 2.0). Existing customers receive preferential pricing.

7. Warranty

The Provider warrants that the Software substantially corresponds to the described functions. The Software is provided "as is". No guarantee is made for fitness for a particular purpose.

Bugs will be addressed promptly where possible. In case of material defects that substantially impair use, the customer is entitled to a refund (see Refund Policy).

8. Liability

The Provider's liability is limited to the purchase price of the license. Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

9. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the Provider's domicile in Switzerland.
